We welcome families from all backgrounds and cultures. Please do come and visit us.
It is our aim at Pre-school to nurture and support the development of Pre-school children within a safe Christian environment, through activities which encourage positive and purposeful play. This is achieved through a wide variety of activities and equipment in a wonderfully light and spacious environment; we play indoors and outdoors each day. The staff are committed Christians and Early Years qualified. Together as a team they care and encourage children to reach their full potential whilst also sharing about the Lord Jesus and the difference He has made in their lives with parents and the wider family.

EBC Pre-school SEND Local Offer
EBC’s SEND Policy, which can be obtained from the setting, sets out how we will support children with SEND needs wanting to attend EBC pre-school and also those that present with SEND needs whilst at pre-school.
Accessing facilities
EBC pre-school has wheelchair access to the building and also out into the outdoor play area. The main indoor play area has no fixed furniture making arranging activities to include children with SEND manageable.
Curriculum
For all children with SEND a provision mapping form will be completed, looking at what the child’s needs are and how pre-school can match these needs, also whether any additional help/training is necessary. EBC offers additional support within sessions, sometimes this will take the form of 1-1 sessions, small groups work or an adult assigned to support a child throughout the preschool session. All staff are kept up to date with children’s progress and appropriate strategies to use with specific children.
Contact
All children are unique and we welcome all potential parents/carers to visit pre-school with their child to meet the staff and see how a pre-school session runs. This is a good opportunity to talk about any needs, what parents expect from a pre-school experience and how EBC pre-school can meet those needs. (See contact details on website).
